If you make me laugh, I'll love you. If you make me laugh until my nose runs and I have to cross my legs, you'll be my best friend forever! And yes, I'm old school enough to completely write out best friend forever. I write fiction (translated: I make up lies for fun and very little profit), love to cook but not bake, love to read fiction, love my family and friends. I'm a member of a writer's critique group where I willingly go to have people tell me I've written a very lovely info dump and cut it by two pages. At a church committee meeting another member said, "What I love about you, Valerie, is you can't say no." Grew up in Michigan, lived near Atlanta for 21 years, moved to Simpsonville in 2008 to be close to children and grandchildren.
