Home invasion ends in bloodshed.
Greenville County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a shooting death in the Berea area that occurred during a home invasion. At approximately 8 p.m. Tuesday, the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office received a call from 28 Lora Lane stating that shots had been fired at apartment A. When deputies arrived, they found 28-year-old Alali Shakoor Perkins Sr. in the driveway of the home. The incident reportedly began when two unidentified black males, approximately 30-years-old, armed with guns arrived at the Berea home. A suspect in an attempted armed robbery was shot and killed on Poinsett Highway.
An employee at a local automotive business shot and killed a man as he tried to rob the location. Laura Campbell, spokesperson for the Greenville County Sheriff's Office, said that at 3 p.m. Thursday, deputies were dispatched to Precision Automotive at 1112 Poinsett Highway in reference to an armed robbery. Two men reportedly entered the business, with at least one of them armed. An employee at Precision Automotive, was able to grab a gun himself and fire at the men. One of them was hit, and died at the scene. The second suspect was apprehended at the incident location by Greenville County Sheriff’s Office deputies who responded to the scene, and has since been arrested for the offense. A 50-year-old man died Monday morning after being shot by a deputy.
A reportedly suicidal man was shot and killed by a Greenville County Sheriff's deputy Monday morning. Laura Campbell, public information officer for the GCSO, said deputies were called to a home at 22 Lermann Drive at 6:59 a.m. Monday in response to a "family disturbance" at the residence, located near White Horse Road and South Fairfield Road. Campbell said a man inside the home was threatening to kill himself. "The suspect was said to be threatening a family members and himself and had armed himself with a rifle," Campbell said. The Greenville County Sheriff's Office is looking for two suspects who shot a pair of customers during an early morning robbery at a convenience store on Augusta Road. At around 3:17 am the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call stating that two customers had been shot during an armed robbery of the Hot Spot convenience store located at 5916 Augusta Road. At 3:18 a.m., deputies arrived at the incident location to find two victims with non-life threatening gun shot wounds and the suspects no longer at the incident location. Standoff with "barricaded suspect," and fears of a hostage situation, ends without incident.
Update: Despite fears of a possible hostage situation earlier Thursday evening, the situation between a suspected shooting suspect and Greenville County authorities has ended peacefully. An unidentified shooting suspect met by the GCSO SWAT team on the front porch of a home on Farrs Bridge Road was apprehended unarmed and uninjured after a standoff, the GCSO said. Despite an earlier report by the department of possible gun play, "the Sheriff’s Office has not been able to confirm shots were fired inside the home. We have, however, confirmed that no injuries were sustained during the incident. Once contact was made with the subject he was temporarily detained until transported to the hospital for evaluation. A man in the Sans Souci neighborhood adjacent to western Taylors was shot and killed after brandishing a knife.
An unidentified man is dead after a Greenville County Sheriff's deputy shot and killed him after he reportedly held a knife to a woman's neck in the Sans Souci area of Greenville. Laura Campbell, spokesperson for the GCSO, said that at 2:30 p.m. a 911 call was made requesting response to 213 Brockman Avenue in reference to a disturbance there. Before deputies could arrive on scene, however, a male and a female left that location, and later information received by the authorities indicated that the male was holding the female at knife point as she was driving. Greenville County deputies are investigating after three suspects wearing masks forced their way into a home on Canterbury Street.
A Simpsonville woman was shot and transported to the hospital after three suspects wearing masks and armed with handguns forced their way into her home at 201 Canterbury Street on Friday. The homeowner was transported to the hospital and her injuries are not life threatening. The incident happened about 1:37 p.m. Master Deputy Jennings Autry said the incident is unrelated to the manhunt currently underway in the Mauldin Road area. Deputies are speaking with witnesses and attempting to gather additional information on the three suspects.

The victim, who has not been identified, was shot in the torso
Greenville County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a shooting at 25 Fleetwood Drive. The shooting happened about 10:30 p.m. Deputies responded to a 911 call and found a man with a gunshot wound to the torso. The shooting is under investigation. The victim was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries, deputies. There is word on his condition.
