The Mauldin Cultural Center is a community arts and performance venue located on East Butler Road. The center is a non-profit organization that works to provide cultural activities, arts programs and productions for the community. The MCC hosts almost 30,000 people and over 1,000 concerts, performances, classes, meetings and community events annually. Classes and program include visual arts, voice lessons, drawing, piano lessons, dance lessons and more. The center holds concerts throughout the year from a variety of genres and also offers rental opportunities for business meeting, birthday parties, social gatherings and more. Though I'm new here, I've been all over and I'm greatly impressed with the MCC and the leadership of George McLeer. The musical lineups, in particular, are great for a town this size. I really hope to make the Blues show on July 21!
