You Go Girl Sprint Triathlon
This women’s only event takes place Sunday, July 7, 7 a.m., at the Greenville Health System Life Center and includes a 250-yard swim, 10-mile bike ride and 2.5-mile run. Cost: $55. To register, visit www.setupevents.com. 

Salt Sense

Stress Management

Let’s Talk About Mental Illness

Overcoming Daily Challenges of Living With MS
This event takes place Saturday, July 20, 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m., at the Hilton Greenville and offers education and support to those living with multiple sclerosis and their caregivers. Cost is $5 per person and includes lunch. To register, call 1-800-344-4867. 

Splash n’ Dash
This multi-sport competition for kids ages 3-16 includes a pool swim and cross country run. Event takes place Saturday, July 20 at the Caine Halter Family Y and Saturday, August 3 at the GHS Family Y. Cost is $15 per person, per event. For details, visit www.ghs.org/splashndash. 

Metabolic Syndrome

Meet the Midwives

Kid Support Camp
This two-day camp for children ages 7-12 who have a family member with cancer takes place Tuesday, July 23 and Wednesday, July 24, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., at the Greenville Health System Cancer Institute. To register, call 455-3740. 

Gluten Free Grocery Tour
Dietitians with the Greenville Health System Life Center will help you locate and better understand gluten-free food options during a grocery store tour on Wednesday, July 24, 12-2 p.m., at the McAlister Square Publix. Cost: $20. To register, call 455-5548. 

Exercise Prescription
Learn the components of a safe exercise program on Wednesday, July 31, 9:30 a.m. or 12:30 p.m., at the Greenville Health System Life Center. Free; registration required. To register, call 455-4037. 

Smoking Cessation Support Group
This group meets every Tuesday from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Community Room at Patewood Memorial Hospital. No fee to attend. For more information, call 455-WELL (9355). 

Weight Management Support Group
This group meets the first and third Wednesday, 6-7 p.m., at the Greenville Health System Life Center. Next class is July 3. No fee to attend. For more information, call 455-WELL (9355). 

Cancer Survivors Support Group
Anyone who has ever had a cancer diagnosis is invited to join this support group, which meets the third Tuesday of every month from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the lobby of the Cancer Institute of Greenville Health System. A support group specifically for breast and gynecological cancer survivors takes place the fourth Tuesday of every month from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, call 455-3740. 

Yoga for Cancer Survivors 
A yoga class for cancer survivors takes place Thursdays, 12:30-1:30 p.m., and 4:30-5:30 p.m., at the Cancer Institute of Greenville Health System. No class July 4. Both classes are free, but registration is required. To register, call 455-3740. 

Walking Club
Cancer patients, survivors and caregivers are invited to walk as a group every Friday. The group meets at 11 a.m. in the lobby of the Cancer Institute of Greenville Health System. To join the club, call 455-3740. 

Coffee Chat
Cancer survivors are invited to meet, relax and chat the third Friday of every month from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the lobby of the Cancer Institute of Greenville Health System.
