Mauldin Mavs Claim Two Jamboree Wins
Team will host a final football jamboree this Friday before regular season kicks off against Hillcrest.
With the regular season set to start on Aug. 30 against arch-rival Hillcrest, the Mauldin Mavericks notched a successful jamboree weekend with two wins under the leadership of first-year head coach Lee Taylor.
On Friday, the Mavs defeated Greenville 21-14 at the Red Raider Jamboree. On Saturday night, the Mavs defeated Greer 21-20 at the J.L. Mann Jamboree.
The Mavs return to action at home this Friday, Aug. 23 for the 2013 Chick-fil-A Kick-Off Classic at Mauldin's Freeman Field, the final jamboree before the season starts.

The jamboree, which starts at 6 p.m., will feature, Mauldin, Hillcrest, Eastside, Powdersville, Wren, J.L. Mann, and Berea high schools.
