The Golden Strip Career Center will hold an Open House on Tuesday, February 12, from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. Current and prospective students, parents and the community are invited to learn more about the programs and opportunities at the career center
Nominations for the ACE Award Now Being Accepted
Mauldin High School is now accepting nominations for the Advocates for Character and Education (ACE) award. This award was created to recognize senior students (one male and one female) who often go unnoticed but have accomplished great things in their school and community. These are unsung heroes who accept challenges, try hard, exhibit good character and educational growth, and who contribute to the school or community in a special way.
Members of the Mauldin High School community are invited to submit nominations. Nomination forms may be found on the homepage of the Mauldin High School website http://www.greenville.k12.sc.us/mauldinh/. Nominations must be received by Dr. Chuck Childs in the Mauldin High School Guidance Department by February 22.
Job Shadow Day is February 15
Job Shadowing is a one-day experience that introduces students to a particular job or career to learn more about a field of interest. Students at Mauldin High School may participate in job shadowing on February 15. In order to participate and be counted present for school while at the job site, students must pick-up an application packet in the guidance office and return it completed by February 4th. Students must select and make their own arrangements directly with a business or industry related to their occupational interests.
