Obit: Charles F. "Jack" Taylor of Mauldin

Services scheduled for Monday.

Charles F. "Jack" Taylor, 83, husband of Evelyn Freeman Davis Taylor, of Mauldin, died Friday, August 30, 2013.

Born in Greenville, he was the son of the late Eunice Burdette and Odez Taylor.

He was a Sergeant in United States National Guard.

He worked for Southern Bell and was a member of Eastlan Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Steve Taylor, of Greenville; two stepsons, Phil Davis, of Tega Cay, SC, and Tim Davis, of Mauldin; a stepdaughter, Sherry Bagwell, of Mt. Pleasant; a brother, Joe C. Taylor; a sister, Madelyn Smith; a granddaughter, Shelly Smith; a grandson, Travis Taylor, and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jo Nell Brady Taylor.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Monday, September 2, 2013 at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Southeast where the Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Graceland East Memorial Park.

The family is at the residence.
