According to the staffing and employment firm Manpower, the Greenville-Mauldin-Easley metropolitan area is the best place in the country to find a job in the next quarter.
An article in Forbes Magazine on Tuesday indicated that 26 percent of the businesses in the Upstate plan on adding to their staffing numbers in the second quarter, while only one percent plan on cutting back. The net figure of 25 percent puts the Upstate in a tie with Knoxville, TN.
The projections come on the heel of news that BI-LO, a fixture in the Upstate for many years, . The amount of jobs to be transferred is yet to be determined.
