Homes on the upper end of the price scale

One of the reasons why Mauldin (and the rest of the Golden Strip) is such an attractive place to live is because of the relatively low cost of living, specifically, the affordability of buying a home.

Last week we looked at homes for sale under $100,000. This week, we’ll look at homes above $200,000 which are still a pretty good deal, if you compare the cost of a similar-sized home in almost any other market.

$209,900 - A four bedroom, three and-a-half bath home on 8 Bayou Court. Amenities include a new roof, space for an apartment and two-story foyer with hardwood flooring.

$224,900 - A five bedroom, three and-a-half bath home on 504 Middleshare Drive. The house is only six years old and has had its price reduced by $35,000. It also has a fenced in backyard.

$245,000 - A 3,000 square foot home on 400 Piney Grove Road. The home has three baths and is located in the Forrester Woods Development.
