Looking for something to do this weekend? Here are 5 suggestions within easy driving distance in Greenville and the Golden Strip.

Friday, Nov. 2:

Saturday, Nov. 3:

2. The Greenville Zombie Run, 5K Chase Race will bring together the living (brave souls!) and the walking dead to create an apocalyptic 5K run in Heritage Park in Simpsonville. Runners will navigate a 5K course, with obstacles, all the while avoiding the blood thirsty zombies that have infested the course. They are not only running against the clock, but running for their lives…all to benefit Greenville First Steps. For full details, CLICK HERE.

3. For this festival there's no need to leave Fido at home…. Head out out to "Woofstock" — a festival featuring live bands and unlimited sampling from dozens of regional craft breweries. Mellow dogs are welcome on leashes. And munchies are on sale to go with your brew from vendors such as Neue Southern Food Truck, Asada Food Truck, Funnellicious, Papa John's Pizza, and Whole Foods. The event, sponsored by the Greenville Humane Society, takes place from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. on  Watson Aviation Road, Greenville. Tix are $35 and $65. Musical lineup includes Sound Committee, Tonight's Noise, and headliners Yo Mama's Big Fat Booty Band, an incredible live act from Asheville. 4. Smooth Jazz Theatre IV will present the SAX Pack, featuring Lawrence Jamison, Charles Twillery, and special guest Moss Mack at 7 p.m. at All Occasions Celebrations, 108 N. Main St., Mauldin. Advance tix are $20. For more info, call 864-561-1143.

5. Halloween may be over, but the spirit lives on…. Carolina Ballet Theater will present "Ghosts," A Halloween-themed performance in the style of Michael Jackson's "Thriller," along with "The Ribbon," a twist on an old folktale.
