"Their music artfully blends dirty Blues/Slide guitars, busy solid bass lines, booming velvety gospel/country vocals, and rock & roll drumming. Betsy and her beloved BareKnuckle Band have become a mainstay in the world famous Athens, Ga., music scene since they formed seven years ago," McLeer said.

Betsy Franck has shared the stage or recorded with multiple well known artists including Bobby Keys, John Popper, Ike Stubblefield, Loretta Lynn, Shooter Jennings, Todd Nance, Bloodkin, John Keane, David Blackmon, Leon Russelll, Billie Joe Shaver, Jerry Joseph, Wally Ingram, and Randall Bramblett,.

This concert is made possible through a grant of the Graham Foundation, Metropolitan Arts Council and the South Carolina Arts Commission which receives funding from the National Endowment for the Arts.
