Hate Interstate 85? You Are Not Alone

Rough stretches of roadway and often interminable and dangerous traffic has prompted an Upstate man to launch an anti-Interstate 85 Facebook page, according to a WSPA report.

We Hate I-85 was started by Jacob Villines, one of thousands of motorists who must brave the highway daily in his commute between Greenville and Spartanburg.

"It's horrible, every morning my leg is shaking sitting in traffic because I don't know if someone's going to hit me from behind," Villines told the station. He believes its the most horrible stretch of highway he's ever seen and said his morning and evening commutes are the worst parts of his day.

The state DOT said that stretch of roadway will be getting some rehab and resurfacing beginning in 2015 at a cost of $36 million, the station reported.
