5 Things to Know for Tuesday

1. Put away your rain gear (if you dare) and put on some sunscreen. The weather forecast for today promises to be sunny and rain-free.

2. Here's a cozy idea…. Put your kids in their PJs, bring their favorite stuffed animal or dolly, and enjoy some bedtime stories together at 6:45 p.m. this evening at the W. Jack Greer Branch Library, 800 W. Butler Road, in Mauldin. Call 864-277-7397 for info.

3. Dollar Dogs! Sonic Drive-In is celebrating National Hot Dog Day with $1 hot dogs on Tuesday, July 23, 2013. Get $1 All American Hot Dogs and Chili Cheese Coneys all day.

4. Attention seniors…. Silver Chair fitness classes are held at 10:45 a.m. today and each Tuesday at Mauldin Sports Center on Butler Road next to the Mauldin Cultural Center. Participants must have a walking pass; wheelchairs are welcome. Chair Yoga will follow the Silver Chair fitness class. Call 864-335-4875 for info.
