Two Upstate Men Arrested on Methamphetamine Charges

Authorities uncover clandestine meth lab in Fountain Inn home.

Two Upstate men are facing drug charges stemming from the discovery of a methamphetamine lab Thursday morning by Greenville County Sheriff's deputies.

At around 9 a.m. arrived at 2 Buck Trail in Fountain Inn to serve an active arrest warrant. While in the process of locating 35-year-old Quincy Allen Walker of Fountain Inn, an alleged clandestine methamphetamine laboratory was discovered inside the home, the GCSO said.

The Sheriff’s Office Meth Lab Team spent the day investigating, processing and properly disposing of the lab, the GCSO said.  

As the result of the investigation two arrests were made. Walker was arrested and charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Manufacturing Methamphetamine in the presence of a minor child, and Disposal of Methamphetamine Waste.  

A second suspect located inside the residence with Walker, 37-year-old James Wesley Patterson of Spartanburg, was also arrested and charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine.

The two suspects are currently being held at the Greenville County Detention Center. Walker is being held on a $75,000 bond and Patterson on a $25,000 bond.
