If you've driven around Mauldin recently you can't help but notice that there are quite a few plates in the air, as it were. Which is to say that there are more than a few construction projects in the works. We checked in on three of them yesterday.

• The newest addition, Table 24, which looks on target for its scheduled June 25 opening.
• The much-anticipated Chicora Alley, which hopes to open by September 23.
• The doctor's office to the west of the Bank of America on West Butler Rd., which looks on track to open later this summer.
