Two weeks ago, I was in court awaiting a decision on a slight car accident that was my fault. The judge had to review two officers dealing with a fight at a high school. The judge seemed frustrated at the number involved in the fight, the anxiety of the Greenville police that a riot was in the making. The judge held the girl guilty but much monitored rehabilitation was required. Our law enforcement needs ALL the respect and support we can muster. They have a new generation of angry young people with no leadership at home or anywhere to deal with. When you see them, be supportive, gentle and as compliant as you can. Thanks!
