Relay for Life Fundraising Assembly – Langston’s annual Hair Cutting/Shaving/ Coloring Assembly for Relay for Life will be held on May 18, 12:00PM – 1:15PM. Girls can have their hair cut and donate it to Locks of Love and boys can have their heads shaved. For the first five students who raise $100, Langston School Board Chairman, Lisa Stevens, will match the donation. For a $10 donation, students will be able to have their head spray painted at the assembly.
Langston Spirit Ball Caps for Sale - Langston ball caps are for sale to be worn at Relay for Life. Hats will be presold for $5 during lunch May 15, 16, 17 and will be given out to students on May 18. Hats will be given free of charge to all students who shave their head or donate hair to Locks of Love.

Relay For Life – Langton will participate in Relay For Life, the American Cancer Society's signature fundraising activity, on Friday, May 18th from 7pm-10pm at the JL Mann High School Track. Glee Club Performance- The Langston Glee Club will perform May 21 at 7:00pm at Rocky Creek Baptist Church, 1801 Woodruff Road Greenville, SC 29607-5936.

Awards Day – Langston Awards Day Ceremony will be held Thursday, May 24 from 10:00am – 11:30am. Parents are invited to attend.
Stevie B’s Spirit Night – Langston’s Spirit Night is Thursday, May 24 at Stevi B's Pizza on Woodruff Road. Stevie B’s will donate $1.00 for each person who mentions Langston.
Field Day – Langston Field Day will be held Thursday, May 31 from 9:00am – 12:00pm at Discovery Island Water Park in Simpsonville. Cost is $10.00 and is due by Friday, May 25 to student’s homeroom teacher. Parents will be responsible for dropping off and picking up students at the park.
Used Uniform Sale – The Langston Used Uniform Sale will be held Friday, June 1 from 8:30am – 12:00pm in the Langston Gym. Additional information may be obtained by calling the school office at 864-286-9700.
Summer Camps at Langston – Enrollment is now open for a variety of summer day camps at Langston Charter Middle School on Woodruff Road in Greenville. Science camps, math camps, creative writing camps, grammar camps, speech and debate camp, adventure camp, Hunger Games camp and much more are being offered. All camps are open to Langston students and many are open to all area students. Log on to www.langstoncharter.org and click on the LCMS Summer Camps link for more information and to register.
