Mauldin's Hallums Joins Blue Hose

Wide receiver Jordan Hallums signed his letter of intent surrounded by family, friends and Mauldin athletics staff.

Hallums was one of five athletes from Mauldin High School to sign a national letter of intent today.

Hallums helped bring a win to the North in the North-South All Star game, running both an 18-yard and 22-yard touchdown receptions during the game.

Hallums broke the school's reception record and was named to the All-County and All-Region teams during his last two seasons, according to Presbyterian College.

In addition to playing football, Hallums also played basketball and ran track.

 Hallums is the son of Tanya Hallums and the cousin of Shammond Williams, who played basketball at North Carolina and also in the NBA with the Lakers and Supersonics.

Hallums plans to major in computer science at Presbyterian.
