GOP Planning 'Take Our Country Back' Rally For Friday
Six elected officials scheduled to speak.
On Friday several notable South Carolina Republicans will be speaking at the Take Our Country Back 2012 Rally at the BI-LO Center in Greenville. Sen. Jim DeMint, Reps. Trey Gowdy, Tim Scott, Mick Mulvaney and Jeff Duncan are joined by State Attorney General Alan Wilson as the speakers.
According to the organizers' web page, there are three main purposes for the rally:
1. Energize conservative voters of the Upstate. Because South Carolina is a “Red State”, we have a lively primary season, but tend to get overlooked during November elections. There are many ways for voters to get involved and aid in promoting the conservative message. Our speakers will not only be rallying conservatives, but also sharing how each voter can help.
2. Unite conservative voters of the Upstate. The Upstate of South Carolina is the largest block of conservatives in the State of South Carolina and among the largest in the nation. We want to give conservatives a venue to gather and show both Columbia and Washington D.C. that the Upstate of South Carolina will fight to retain our freedoms and liberties.
3. Inform conservative voters of the Upstate. We have an amazing and historic slate of speakers that will be sharing what is going on in Washington D.C. and how they are working to promote conservative values and fight against the liberal/progressive agenda. We also will hear about the Petition Candidate movement in South Carolina.
Doors will open for the event at 5 p.m. and the event begins at 6 p.m. Admission is free.

Oh Yay! An informational meeting hosted by the most radical conservatives in the country to rally us in the upstate! Will the agenda include how SC is among one of the poorest states in the union and how those "blue states" pay for our needed "entitlement" programs (the blue states should be rallying to get us off of their payroll!), or how we are among the worst in education (obviously-look how we vote!). Oh, it will be about scaring people into thinking that there is something to take the country back "from". It's pretty evil to have people who use God to scare people into voting against their interest, as they prey on the uninformed electorate. When I tell people I'm from SC, they say, "Oh, I'm sorry!" Yup...let's parade the crazies for all to see us! That's one sure way to rally up the liberal base!

1. Romney will keep pre-existing conditions as he "does away with Obamacare"...which means he will keep the mandates since that's the only way to cover them. AND he and Ryan will keep it the same, but want to be able to sell it to the public better in an opened debate. How will you sell that one to your base that has been brainwashed into thinking that the administration is taking liberties away by making uninsured people pay their fair share via a mandate, tax or whatever.
2. While on the subject of taxes...Romney also increased "fines" and didn't call them taxes...even raised them 3X the amount on guns. YUP! Wonder if Fox news will cover that one!
3. Romney won't cut taxes on the rich he said. He may change them, but revenue coming in will be the same. WAIT...I THOUGHT the rich were job creators, and taxing them meant we were jealous of them and that we will kill jobs. Is Mr. Romney playing class warfare? Ooooohhh....GOP must hate him now, right? (Naaahh...because they don't watch any media because the conservative media brainwashed them into discrediting all others...fascists.
