Colbert Confirmed for Friday

Charleston's own GOP spoofer Stephen Colbert hosts 'Rock Me Like a Herman Cain' Friday at College of Charleston.

COLLEGE OF CHARLESTON — Stephen Colbert, host of the "Colbert Report" and conservative character, will host an event dubbed "Rock Me Like a Herman Cain" at 1 p.m. Friday at the Cistern, according to the college's media relations office.

Colbert is running for President of the United States in South Carolina, but he threw his hat into the GOP presidential primary too late to appear on the ballot. So he's told his audience members that a vote for now-dropped out candidate Herman Cain is a vote for Colbert.

Colbert is a Charleston native and has previously meddled in the 2008 Democratic primary when he ran as a Republican, but was denied being placed on the ballot. In late 2011, he sought to gain the naming rights of the S.C. GOP debate and also host his own debate.

Most recently he said his Super PAC, which now belongs to host of the "Daily Show" Jon Stewart, would fund county costs uncovered by the S.C. GOP during this Saturday's primary

The event will be short and Colbert will not be available for press to ask questions afterward, according to Melissa Whetzel, of the college's media relations department.

No one talks about his right ear. No, Really, If we want the perfect candidate, something will have to be done with that ear.

Funny how this Presidential race is a joke to the establishment and how Ron Paul is made out to be crazy for being the only candidate taking this seriously. This country is SICK to it's very core.

How about this little quip from congressman Paul?
In a GOP debate this September, Paul said, “I think this fence business is designed and may well be used against us and keep us in. In economic turmoil, the people want to leave with their capital. And there’s capital controls and there’s people control. So, every time you think of the fence keeping all those bad people out, think about those fences maybe being used against us, keeping us in.” In the same debate, Paul is questioned about FEMA and whether the National Emergency Center Establishment Act could lead to detaining American citizens in camps during martial law. His response: “Yes, that’s their goal, they’re setting up the stage for violence in this country, no doubt about it.” There is no doubt this guy should run for the wacka-doodle party nomination.

I'm voting for "Herman Cain" on Saturday. I don't want ANY of these candidates in office.
